Session Format

What a Typical Session Looks Like

Each session is 60 - 90 minutes and follows a consistent structure so students always know what to expect.

1

Warm-Up & Check-In

0–5 min

A quick warm-up activity will be given while the instructors checks-in on how school is going and what the student wants to focus on. Any assigned homework will be turned in at this point.

2

Review Previous Material

5–20 min

We revisit concepts from the last session and any challenging questions. This will also help the instructor to guide the lesson for a more effective session.

3

New Concept or Deep Work

20–60 or 20-90 min

Depending on the student's lesson plan, if a new unit is to be learned, the instructors will introduce the new concept and work through example problems. Otherwise, the student will be assigned with further material to keep them engaged in their studies.

4

Homework and Grades

Before You Go

Instructors will have finalized grading and assigned homework based on current lessons before class ends.

Sessions can be adjusted to 60 or 90 minutes based on your child's needs.
